I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta as my mother was sent to country side of China to work as an agriculture teacher.  During the 9 months of her pregnancy, she had nothing to eat but rice soup and pickles.  Her diet was serverely lacking protein, fat, vitamins and minerals.  As the result I had gene mutation,  I started breaking bones at age of 9 months due to brittle bones.   I broke all parts of my body except for brain and total fracture # is around 30 times.  At age of 30, I was given Fosmax since I broke a rib after I delivered my son.  I studied the side effect of Fosmax and refused to be the victim of medication. 

I started working out, but my bone density did not change much.  Every year it got worse a little bit.
